- Prospect Park: Did you know that if you go to the park between the hours of 6am and 9am dogs are allowed off leash.
- Genesis House: It is a electric car showroom with the freedom to test out the cars, play music from the cars and ask questions to experts about cars.
- Redhook Recreation Center: This a large community center with a new basketball court, a well equipped gym, a computer room and a seasonal pool. Excellent staff runs the place and really makes you feel happy and part of a family.
- Governors Island: This somewhat easy to access park by boat has amazing sports fields, food trucks, biking paths and an old jailhouse to explore.
